Our Lippincott Galley Kitchen is complete and we are thrilled to show you the final images above.

This project was a dream to work on, not only did we have amazing clients to work with but also a fantastic team of trades which made the entire process smooth, lovely and most of all fun.

When our clients first reached out to us, we knew this was going to be a fun project. They had a very strong sense of what they wanted and was dedicated from the beginning to be fully involved in the entire process.

We knew from the start that the colour palette we were working with would be in the black / white and copper tones. Our clients had recently purchased a set of new copper pots and we wanted to include them in the new kitchen. They were also looking to integrate their appliances, add casual seating and create a kitchen where cooking together was possible (both are passionate cooks and let me tell you… their home made bacon is amazing).

As for the style of the kitchen, we weren’t looking for a fully contemporary and also not a transitional, we wanted a modern take on a transitional kitchen, a little bit of flair, fun, energy and style. Which is why we decided to play with quite bold materials and colours.

The banquette seating in the kitchen houses additional storage below. The seat and backrest has a removable cover for easy washing when needed. And the custom made walnut table has an adjustable base for the client to raise to counter height of 36″ if requiring additional work surface in the kitchen.

We also did the adjacent powder room to the kitchen using the same beautiful Schumacher wallpaper as the kitchen, painted it matte black and designed a custom made quartz vanity to increase vanity size and circulation within the small powder room.

We absolutely love how this kitchen / powder room turned out. The bold black and white cabinets to act as a background to all our fun accent materials – copper handles, copper edge band on the open shelves, the bold veined Vicostone Arebescato countertop / full height backsplash and of course the Schumacher queen of spain wallpaper.
